SAFETY TRAINING IS CRITICAL TO THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY AND ITS WORKERS

Safety and the environment rank among the most important issues in the construction industry today.

The industry adheres to the federal safety standards and practices as prescribed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 employers are responsible for providing safe and healthful workplaces for their employees.

Many Wisconsin construction contractors have personnel and/or departments committed solely to the safety of their employees.  AGC of Wisconsin employs two full-time, professional safety directors to service the safety and environmental requirements of its members.

AGC of Wisconsin is committed to developing and delivering the highest quality safety materials, education and awareness among construction employees by enhancing and sharing “best practices” to ensure a safer working environment and contributing to a positive image of the construction industry within our state.

AGC of Wisconsin offers a wide selection of safety and environmental training programs including Safety Wise, OSHA training and more.
